
An exercise in targeted luxe, our favorite candy brand asked us to design and produce a promotional product for Valentine’s Day. Tied to an existing holiday campaign, the brief called for a packaging experience that would delight four senses. We presented several production approaches that balanced budget constraints and an even tighter three-week timeline.
The final design centers on a classic heart-shaped box, branded with a low-contrast Rotten logo and hand-tied with custom ribbon.
Inside, a sealed envelope reveals a Valentine’s card printed on pearlescent paper, infused with a fruity scent that connects to the broader social campaign. Beneath the card, each bag of candy is carefully wrapped in branded tissue—arranged like a bouquet of delicate roses.
After designing, sourcing, and producing the boxes, Long Haul built a romantic set to capture photo and video content for social and e-commerce. When the campaign launched, the limited run sold out quickly.
